Mind goes STEM !
October 16th 2017
Mind is participating to the WeGoSTEM initiative.
WeGoSTEM is an initiative intended to promote STEMs (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) towards young pupils.
The goal is to allow pupils from 5th and 6th primary school and 1st and 2nd secondary school in Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia
to discover their talents for science and technology in a fun way. We try to raise their interest for STEMs by allowing them to build and program a robot.
In order to do so, they get help, not only from their teacher, but also from passionated and experimented IT professionals.
WeGoSTEM is part of the Europe Code Week from October 7th till October 22nd 2017.
In Belgium we aim to reach 5 000 pupils, in order to meet the common european objective of more than a million kids !
This year, Mind will send two of its consultants to support this initiative.
WeGoSTEM ows its success to all the volunteers who support this project. If you also like science and technology and if you would like to be part of this project, please volunteer with us and join the WeGoSTEM initiative !
